Why is it some poor sucker who commits a crime in the ghetto gets prosecuted to the full extent of the law while rich people who literally destroy our country and its institutions get a slap on the hand. No wonder the rich want to keep the power for themselves, so they can keep pulling this stuff off.
Disclaimer: not all rich people fall into this category, just the ones currently serving as president and vice president and all who are affiliated with them.
