War and Wangs

When small men with small penises need to feel better about themselves they pick a fight. If they are so weak and cowardly that they can't beat up on anyone, they start a war. Courage would require one to actually talk to others, even enemies. War is easy, peace complex. It's sort of like smacking your kid. It's easy to make your kid be quiet by smacking him but much harder to talk with them. Make no mistake, war is about weak wangs.

The Reason People Fight

Nobody backs down and everyone assumes others are trying to hurt them. Also, people have no clue how to put themselves in the other person's shoes and understand their side. Nobody backs down.

eBay Feedback

If you've ever bought or sold anything on eBay you may be familiar with their reticence to deal with any conflict that arises except through a drawn out, painful process. This leaves the feedback system as the only line of defense, but it's a poorly implemented one because:

• People can slam you unjustly and you can't get rid of the feedback.
• The feedback can't be withdrawn completely or changed in case of mistakes.
• People use it as a tool of intimidation by threatening poor feedback.
• There's no guarantee of a satisfactory outcome for either party
• eBay takes no responsibility for any conflict arising on its site.
  

People want to resolve disputes but eBay does a poor and slow job of mediating. They rake in the money by connecting buyers and sellers (in effect creating a store of sorts) but refuse to help when something goes wrong on their premises.

Self Reliance

Did you know there is a huge segment of this country that thinks you're on your own for everything. Forget government, it can't help you with anything. All I need is my propane tank and my gun. Nobody ever gave me anything so I ain't givin' nobody nuthin'.

Why don't we just call it a day and rename our nation independence land. Our motto could be, "Where everyone does exactly what they want to do and nobody cares about anyone else or the common good." Pathetic.

You live in a country with other people. Not your own little universe. Grow up and let others into the sandbox. Nobody ever said selfishness is next to Godliness.

State of the Union

Divided and not well. Correction: the rich are doing well. Everyone else gets to gleefully participate in the euphemistically named culture of responsibility. Let me translate that in case people don't realize what culture of responsibility really means. It means you're on you own.

Never Forget

All these well meaning groups and organizations that never want to forget their cause are missing a key point. To heal you have to acknowledge but be able to let go. Constantly reliving trauma doesn't help anyone heal. This country needs some more healing not more fixation on mourning.

Hollywood Stars are Like You and Me

Hollywood stars aren't some special kind of person. They run the same gamut as the rest of the population. Some are happy, some not, some rich, some not, some mean, some nice. Why the fascination with all these people? I'm sure some are very nice people but why don't we celebrate and pay a teacher the same for the heroic work she or he does.
