Never Forget
All these well meaning groups and organizations that never want to forget their cause are missing a key point. To heal you have to acknowledge but be able to let go. Constantly reliving trauma doesn't help anyone heal. This country needs some more healing not more fixation on mourning.

Big Tough Guys
Funny how these big tough guys who try to be all macho and stuff are the same one's who can't talk to their Dads, wives or daughters. How tough is that?
Mean People
Imagine living a life where you make others feel horrible all the time. What does that say about you? Why would anyone live a life like that? They hate themselves.

Nudity
Everyone is so titillated and excited or outraged and scared by nudity. If we all just accepted that we all have bodies and there's nothing wrong with sex then nudity wouldn't be such a hot issue. It also would lead to a lot of bored religious people. All some of these people have sexually is their anger toward those who might actually enjoy nudity.
Imagine being scared of nude bodies. Pathetic.

War Mongers
War mongers don't realize that it's their belief that there will always be war that perpetuates perpetual war. If you begin to believe that war can be eliminated you start doing things differently than the war mongers and it leads in a different direction.
If you say, "There will always be war," you create a self-fulfilling prophecy. Also, always remember who benefits from war. Hint: think of who is making money off the war currently.

Frantic Technology Overload
We have all this technology to keep us busy at all times, connected in every way in frantic momentum. This, of course, keeps us from the important stuff like sitting down with our kids or taking a walk with our spouse or telling someone important we love them. The more frantically busy and multi tasking we become the less connection we have to what really means a lot in life.
Don't believe me? What means more: a million emails or text messages to your kid or ten minutes listening to them about their day. What means more: being available to your boss 24 hours a day or looking at a sunset with your spouse.
Technology is wonderful for technological purposes but it doesn't necessarily add meaning to our lives.

Snot Blowers and Spitters
You seen these guys? Blowing snot and spitting all the time. The people who like these people are either one of them or their dad is one of them or their sister is married to one of them. You can't really love this unless you've been dealt this hand and don't think you deserve better. I've got news for everyone, there is better.

Low Pants
Many people are really worried about the low pants kids are wearing. Yeah, that's it, keep worrying about the pants instead of providing them excellent education, promise for the future, healthcare, birth control, freedom of religion, freedom from sexism, the right to marry if they're gay, the right to social security etc. etc.

The Uninsured
45 million people don't have health insurance in our country, the richest country in the world. Want to know how many people that is? Imagine you wake up tomorrow and you have an extra 45 million dollars. Now imagine each of those dollars is a person who will not get healthcare. What's it say about you if you don't get that point?

Tough Guys
Tough guys are aggressive because they are hurt inside and always feel they need to protect themselves. They look menacing on the outside but it all comes from being scared inside. They often don't realize that if they faced their hurt and resolved it they could live a life of balance. The more secure and happy you are the less tough you need to be. People deserve to live fear and violence free lives.

Affirmative Action Babies
Did you know there are some white guys who complain about affirmative action? Guess they forget that white guys have had the benefit of every right, privilege and quota since the inception of our country. You'd have to be a major douchebag to not let other folks in on it. Or at least a high profile radio host or the white guys currently running the country.

Sleeping with a lot of People
This is OK as long as you don't do it because of some unresolved issue inside you. You know the answer to that question right now.

How to Get Rich
Do something you really love, work hard and do it over time.
All the other stuff is garbage.
Also don't do stuff just to make money or you'll be poor in spirit.
There's more to life than monetary wealth.

Speeding Ticket
Don't cops have anything better to do than hassle regular, law abiding citizens who happen to drive safely but over the speed limit? Don't they have something better to do than raise money by issuing more tickets? Surely there are some real crimes being committed in this society. Couldn't those officers, whose salaries we pay, do some real crime fighting.
