Guazy Memories

The Right is frequently rambling on about trying to hang on to some idealized value or idea that never really existed such as the 1950s. You know, when Republican President Eisenhower was warning about the military industrial complex that the Right loves so much now and compulsively feeds.

Then there's the great stuff about how minorities were treated in the good old days, and women, and disabled people and...But don't let the truth get in the way, the idealized memory is always softer and you also don't have to look at what a jerk you are.

The rich did well as always if I recall correctly. Even though the tax rate was much higher than what it is now.

Fear of Illegal Immigrants

Did you know many people are petrified of illegal immigrants? Then they crap in the toilets the illegal immigrants clean, eat the food the illegal immigrants cook and enjoy the lawns the illegal immigrants mow. Then they look the other way at the companies that are paying the illegal immigrants sub par wages to wash dishes. And who can ignore those huge lines of people clamoring for the jobs these illegals are taking away from our citizens? People are literally lined up to clean toilets. Yeah, those illegals are sure screwing everything up. If you are afraid of illegals you're either a racist or a douchebag or both.
